Well I spent the entire day with a can of spray primer in my hand and painted everything in site white including a little dusting of white on the kittens (16 weeks) that couldn't seem to find anywhere else to play. They were in the cherry tree above me or they were in the dresser drawer that I was trying to paint or on top of the tables or posing sweetly in the antique picture frames that were leaning against the tree. It's hard to get anything done when you have to pick up a cute kitten every few mintues but it's worth it because they are just so sweet.
This is all in preparation for the Tag Sale that we're having in October. Got a lot primed today just hope I can get it all painted in time.
Saturday the 12th I'll be heading for Washington, DC on the NC Tea Party Bus. I've never done anything like this before so I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I think that patriotism at it's best will be on display that day and I hope it sends the message to our President and Congress that it's about "We the People" and not about their desire for power!
Anyway, sale day is a little over one month away so I'll have to keep my nose to the grindstone when I get back. We'll talk soon. Bon Nuit, Debbie
